Our recommendation, and why we disclose it

A platform called HonestView cannot bury this. So here it is, up top and in plain English.

The short version. Our recommended pick, AlmostZero, is a managed-advertising service that our group also operates. We recommend it because we think it fits a real need well, and we tell you about the connection so you can weigh the recommendation with that in mind. It is labeled "Recommended" and the connection is disclosed wherever it appears.

The relationship

HonestView is one of several review and information properties run by our group. AlmostZero (almostzero.io) is a business the same group owns and operates. Recommending our own product on our own review platform is a material connection, and the honest way to handle it is to disclose it plainly, not to hide it.

How we handle it

  • It is our recommendation, not an independent verdict. We present AlmostZero as our recommended pick and disclose the connection in the same place, so you are never misled into thinking it is a neutral third-party rating.
  • Clear labeling. AlmostZero carries a "Recommended" badge plus a disclosure note on every card, list and its profile page, and there is a disclosure line at the top of every page.
  • Ratings. The only rating we show for AlmostZero is its real, public Trustpilot score, linked to the source. We do not assign it a score of our own.
  • Cross-links. Links to AlmostZero and our related review hub use nofollow and are disclosed as connected properties.

Why this matters to you

Treat our recommendation as exactly that: a recommendation from a publisher with a stake in the outcome. For the outside view on AlmostZero, lean on the independent Trustpilot reviews and your own diligence for the outside view.

Everything else

Every other company on HonestView is independent of us. We have no ownership stake in them, and we show no rating for them unless and until we can source a real one. If that ever changes for a specific company, we will disclose it on that company's page.
